First time inground pool owner in H-town, Texas.

Signed the contract on our build just last week. Anxiously awaiting the HOA approval so excavation can start.
Went with Precision Pools and Spas out of Richmond, Texas.

2017 has been a crappy year for me and the kids -- my kids lost their father in January. No better way to bring the kids a little joy and keep them close than to put in a pool.

Here's a link to the design we decided on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Et64PND0NCk

I intend to put a minimum 10x10 pergola over the main deck area because our yard is open and hot (read: Southern Texas).

    Thanks for reading.

Deepest condolences Court. So sorry to hear about your loss.
After spending 6+ hours in the pool this weekend with two of my boys, you have a great plan!

Welcome to the forum...get your test kit ordered so you have it when the pool is filled.
I got the start up bundle: http://tftestkits.net/TF-100-Bundles-c21/

    I love my SpeedStir!
Still finding out details, new owner of used pool.
13k, inground, plaster, Pentair IntelliFlo pump, cartridge filter, cooler, IntelliTouch i7 & AquaRite SWCG. TF-100, K-1766 & SpeedStir. More details as I learn...

Thank you for the welcome. I'm still trying to read through all the startup materials. Will get the test kit ordered ASAP.

Two weeks of staring at this due to waiting on the HOA.
