    CompuPool CPX Salt Chlorinator 60K - CPX48 ...... Info.......Opions ?

Having taken TFP's advice to double the size of a SWG, I'm looking at a CompuPool CPX Salt Chlorinator 60K - CPX48. I've read in some threads that CompuPool had some meltdown issues in the past and a lawsuit.
Does anyone have any current information on this company and/or model. Or opinion on CompuPool's product quality and customer service?

Good decision to get a big chlorinator and enjoy better economics. The most frequently recommended here (first 3 equal, then in order), are Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, and Circupool. SGS seems OK as well, and there are a few other brands that must be fine. There's some threads a few years ago discussing the problems you describe above.

Keep warranty in mind, whichever way you go.
