    Post Does dichlor granules add to CYA

    CYA @ 70 - got a 25# bucket of dichlor granules from a friend - will it increase my CYA
    7800 gal, vinyl, A/G, 100 sq ft Proline cartridge filter, 1 hp Hi Flo pump, installed 2006, Taylor K2006 test kit, Raypak 130K natural gas heater, chlorine tab feeder, Pool Rover cleaner

    Yup, aka, Dichloroisocyanuric acid.

    Yes it will Irish, but you can save the stuff and use it later. Make sure its kept sealed tight and dry for a good Chlorine/stabilizer source in the future.
