    Howdy

Just wanted to say hello and thanks to all that have contributed to this great site. Bought a new house last summer with a 24ft above ground pool. Struggled with keeping it in good shape last year with no idea what I was doing. Found this website while opening my pool this year ordered a tf test kit and now my pool is sparkling clean thanks to all your great info on here. I like the idea of being able to know that the pool is safe for my two daughters to be in instead of using the pool store method of guessing and adding unnecessary chemicals.

    Howdy to you, too!

Thanks for this post. It's nice to know that the articles and threads make sense -- that someone can understand them and get results without needing a lot of clarification.

Troublefree does not mean Maintenancefree. It's like brushing your teeth: You can spend a couple minutes a day and pennies a week or go to the dentist once a year and spend several thousand dollars.
A pool is like a pet - you have to feed it every day, even the days you don't want to play with it!
