What size pump do I need?

I need to get a more efficient pump for my pool. Found these 2 on Ebay, but not really sure what all the numbers mean, does anyone have one of these with the same size pool I have? Is 1 HP enough or should I go to 1.5? I just don't understand what the difference is between these two other than the price and for what? Thanks!

The Super Pump is designed for in-ground pools. It would not be a good match for your pool.

I would look for a 1/2 HP or 3/4 HP pump. Your pool is fairly small and doesn't need a large pump. A smaller pump will save electricity and be fine for everything else.
