Need new Spa pump - with pool renovation

My secondary pump for my spa needs to be replaced. It is a 2HP Hayward. I am trying to go all Pentair but not sure which route I should take with this pump. Just a standard pump?

Which Hayward pump is it? Pentair will have a pump that is directly comparable to the pump you are replacing.

A superflo pump won't replace that pump. Challenger pump are high head pumps.

Whats wrong with the current pump? Chances are its fixable for less than the cost of a new one. If you are planing on staying with pentair I would recommend getting the same pump you already have.

Thanks, it is about 20yrs old. We turned it on and it was hung up and then shot water all out the seal. I am sure I could fix it (have worked on all my pumps) but I am ready to just get a new one. It will complete the cycle of my pumps being replaced. That one is fine. What is a high head pump?
