I have a flow sensor issue but different. Jandy AQUAPURE 1400 1.5 years old. No flow indicator on 95% of the time. Sometimes when I start the system the flow light comes on then after some period of time 5-10 minutes the flow light and "cell on" light go out. I do not get a code 172 or 180. The cell is clean and the flow sensor has been cleaned per the manual but was not dirty or did not appear to be. When I start the system the number 60 flashes on the little LCD then goes away. When I switch from Auto to service mode 170 flashes on the LCD.
