Hello All

I've been reading this site for a while as I build my first pool ever.

I"m a Mechanical Engineer and my wife and I decided to do it ourselves.

We designed it, submitted stamped drawing to the city, got approved.

We are doing about a 19,000 gallon pool with large sun shelf.

Had a hole dug, steel put in, and gunite.

I did the plumbing and it's holding pressure.

The water line tile is in and now I"m working on close out items.

We are doing it almost entirely ourselves since we hated every quote from pool companies. We are saving a lot of money, making mistakes and learning a lot.

I'm excited to sahre my experience with you all and learn from you all also!

Thanks,
Zeus

You are going to save big bucks and I always like learning experiences. I did not do the Pool building myself(Doctor), but i bought all the equipment and installed it myself. Very happy with the experience. One of the most important rules to follow in TFP is uploading pictures!!!
