Do you happen to have a little submersible pump? If so you can use that to move the water and use liquid chlorine! MUCH safer than the power as there is not chance of it sitting on anything IF you have the pump running AND you brush the pool good after adding.

You can also put in one of those cheap tablet floaters and let that move around the pool to add FC and even some CYA.

Glad to hear. It ended up being nothing but a rain event in our part of Magnolia also. Creek carried it away quickly although I may have some erosion to address back there. Pool pumped out and guys working again today.
