Ok, so I got my Taylor k-2006 kit and just tested my water. of note, the PB has put salt in it but doesn't seem to have turned the SWG on (so that's another question).

FC= 2.5
CC =0
pH= 7.0 (!)
TA= 50
CYA = 42

looks like my CYA and FC are too low as is my pH. what to do?
:confused::eek:

I would raise the FC to around 4-6 ppm. 2.5 is not adequate

I would also leave pH and CYA alone for now. pH will naturally rise

CYA is not bad so don't be in a rush. Do your summer temps get into 90+?

What does your PB say about turning on your SWG? How long ago was the salt added and have you run your pump at least 24 hours straight since then? Bleach would be the best to raise FC. A SWG is best at maintaining a level, not raising the level
