Quick Backwashing Question

I have a two speed pump on my 27' AGP and was wondering what speed ya'll set your pump at when backwashing? I see posts where I should be backwashing for like 3 minutes and wasn't sure if that was on high or low.

You would want that on high for effective back washing.

Then rinse for 30 seconds. (make sure pump is off when switching multiport.)

just a note. you may want to refer to the size of your pool in gallons, not feet. Helps

I run the stopwatch app on my phone while I backwash, but really only for reference and rinsing. The color/purity of the discharged water dictates how long I backflush. The last time I backwashed was the first time after adding DE. The water ran dirty for almost 4 minutes IIRC.
