Hello,
 My pool is new last summer. This season I opened the pool w/o any issues; until most of the screws turned rusty around the skimmer plate and light. My pool guy says nothing he can do, it is caused from the salt system. Any ideas?? :grrrr:

Your PB isn't very bright  , is he :?: The screws are supposed to be stainless steel, however Hayward's suppliers have been giving the low quality screws for the past 3 years :hammer: Remove one of the top screws from the skimmer and take it down to a decent hardware store and buy enough good screws to replace all the faceplate screws :)

For the rust stains on the faceplates, rub some ascorbic acid on them 8)
