Can i install a fountain on my return?

A little bit of Google searching & it looks like the fountain needs a 1-1/2" internal threaded wall fitting like the standard Hayward type fitting that uses adjustable directional eyeballs.

Your return (as in the picture) does not seem to have that internal thread.

Might be some kinda adapter you could rig up for it to fit. But I gotta tell ya'..........I got one of those and it hasn't seen daylight past the first couple of times I tried it. Both the spray and the led lights it produces are less than to be desired.

A fountain will cause your pH to rise as well.

I use a regular cheapie screw in flower fountain to help lower water temps over night in July and August though.

Hey all,

Fountain would only be used for when kids are in pool.... just a gimmick really but will keep them amused.

Will see if i can get some type of adapter.

I use a regular cheapie screw in flower fountain to help lower water temps over night in July and August though.

I use a fountain spray of sorts for the same purpose. I have a 1 1/2 " return that I screw into. But I'm the queen of tinkering with building my own out of PVC.

I will say when I have the spray turned up high buy closing other return valves, the spray seems to deter horse flies that we have a problem with.

I also don't have an issue with PH rise.
