My pH is 7.2 this evening. I had drained some water off yesterday trying to lower my CYA. At best guess, I'm at 80 now on my CYA. I don't know if the drain and refilling has anything to do with the pH. But, I was pleased to check after swimming to see that my FC was at 7. I"ll bump it up to 10 tonight for another sunny day tomorrow. My question is, will the pH rise on its on or do I need to add borax to get up?

it'll eventually rise with aeration. 7.2-7.8 is acceptable. I don't think you'll notice any difference by raising it, though I wouldn't let it get below that.

pH is fine at 7.2 and if you are now using bleach it won't drop unless you add acid. It will rise over time (how fast depends on how high your TA is).
