Help with Intex Upgrade - Connections & Hoses

I have a 14x42 intex ultra frame. I am trying to upgrade my pump from 1000gph to 2500gph. This new pump came with 2 hose. The holes for the hoses in my pool are smaller than the openings for these new hoses. I do not want to cut my pool.
My pool also has 3 openings instead of 2. How in the world do I make this work?? Can I use my original intake strainers or do I have to get new. I have no idea what I am doing. Any help and/or pictures would be appreciated!

Many people have upgraded their Intex pool. Here are a few examples:

I also did a major upgrade on mine, changing inlet/outlet connections to more standard ones.. along with PVC and a diagram showing which parts i used.. it might be helpful, unsure, but figured i'd mention it (link in my sig).
