New Water vs. Old? What's your preference?

Is there an advantage to draining the water and filling up with new versus using the old water from last season?

Nope, old water is just as wet.....

Many of us have never changed the water in our pools

Well old green water is just as green too...

If the water is clear and hasn't been a problem then I agree it is just as wet.. keep it as is..

But if you have a green swamp you have to decide what makes the most sense.

We can turn almost any old green swamp into a clear pool but there is a cost.. In some locations wet water is very cheap and it might make more sense to drain and start over vs. buying a 50 gallons of bleach. In other locations, the cost of water, or water restrictions, make it a much simpler decision.

Cost $40 dollars to fill pool. Cost me $150 in bleach. But I have the satisfaction of clearing my pool myself.
