Smoking Pool?

It is 6 a.m. and about 45 degrees outside this morning. There is a smoke/fog continually rolling off the pool. Is this normal?

I shocked up to 30 ppm to kill some mustard algae last night. My pool is not going to explode or anything, is it?

Please tell me this is just fog and that it is normal.

What you are actually seeing is your pool heat rolling off the pool - this is where a cover is a valuable item!! Don't lose the heat!!

I have a solar cover, but I am shocking. Going to toss it on the pool here in a bit.
