I just filled my above ground pool for the first time this year. The water is quite cloudy. I am in the middle of correcting the ph and chlorine, but what should I do to make the water clear up?

Welcome to TFP! 
Cloudiness generally points towards an algae problem. It doesn't start green, so now is the time to kill it. But you must have the proper test kit of your own. Do you have a TF-100 (link below) or Taylor K-2006? If not, that would be priority #1. Then you could post a full set of test result for everyone here to assist you with without guessing. In the meantime, don't' add anything to your water except perhaps about 1/2 gallon of regular (plain) bleach each evening. You should also read the SLAM page (link below) as that is the process we use here at TFP to eradicate algae.
