I've been lurking on TFP for about a year now. I've looked through hundreds of threads for ideas and advice. The members of this forum have a wealth of knowledge. We started the process last summer with interviewing many pool builders in the area. We finally picked one we liked and went through several designs. We knew we wanted a freeform lagoon style pool with waterfall. There was a plan to do an outdoor living room and kitchen at the same time.

Equipment

21x40 lagoon style
approx. 800 sq ft
Subshelf, multiple swimout benches
1100 sq ft paver patio
All Pentair equipment
3x 2 hp VS pumps
400,000 btu heater
IC60 SWG
7 Pentair Globrite LED lights

We have decided to put the outdoor kitchen/living room on hold for the time d/t cost of everything. We had several large 75' pine trees removed from the yard to make room for the pool. Pool was dug in the late fall with rebar and gunnite completed in early December. Everything then sat idle for most of the winter. Things started to pick up a few weeks ago.

All of the stone was finally delivered after the snow melted. Waterfall construction was completed this week.

Things are really moving along. Just ordered my tft100 test kit, will run a test of tap water once I receive my kit. We settled on Luna Quartz Aruba for the plaster. There was some back and forth between Barbados and Aruba. We picked our tile too. Tile should be installed in the next week or so. We went with the lighter grey tile on the left.

Paver patio was installed this week. Hopefully plaster and equipment will be done next week. Here are a few pictures of the patio
