    Adding Diatmaceous Earth, question

I've noticed they have 'food grade' in garden centers would that be acceptable to add to a sand filter?

I was planning on using the tutorial in TFP when I get my hands on some.
I have a 24ft round pool. 52in deep. 14k gallons. It has a sand filter. It is a chlorine pool that we got March, 2016. Above ground!

No, food grade is not processed the same, and will clump up and make a mess of your filter.

Be sure to only use pool grade DE.
