Spa Losing Water when Pump Off

As the title suggests, my raised spa is losing water whenever the pump isn't running. The level drops to jets but never gets lower than the jets.

Of note the water loss occurs more rapidly when the Spa Suction Valve is left slightly open. But even when fully closed off the spa will still lose water.

Is this a Valve issue or something totally different?

Chelsea,

Most pools with raised spas have a check valve to prevent what is happening to you.

I suspect the check valve is broken or has something in it that is keeping the valve from shutting.

Post a couple of pics of your equipment pad and that might help us help you...

Is that a check valve hiding behind the blue ball or does it have a handle on it??

Looks like a check valve to me..

Open it up and inspect it. If it looks ok, lube it up and give it another shot.
