    Quick question

I have been using liquid chlorine to open my pool and took it to slam level. Now that it is down what number should I be kicking my SWG on? I have my FC @ 9.4. 9-11 is pool maths daily target numbers.

Im thinking I should kick it on 20% now to see how much it jumps. Not planning on swimming anytime soon. Have not used it yet so Im getting antsy..

Around 4ppm FC is good on a SWG.

Your saying not to turn it on until it goes down to 4?

    Re: Quick question

What FC number you are targeting depends on your CYA. As for %run time for the SWG, that may just take some tinkering. I'd start at 20% and see how much your chlorine drops. I know I've let mine drop too low by not checking when coming down from SLAM and running at 20%, so just be sure to check and you'll get a feel for daily consumption of FC as production of FC by SWG.

A lot of folks maintain 4 ppm with a SWG all summer. turn it on at 5 and play with it.
