My Numbers

After about a 50% pool drain and refill due to high CYA, here are my numbers:

FC: 0
CC: 0
PH: 7.4
TA: 220
CH: 480
CYA: 80% (as best as I can tell, it's cloudy outside)

The CH and CYA both came down as the CH was at about 880 and the CYA was well over 100% (I'm guessing about in the 140 range).

What do you all recommend besides getting some chlorine in there.

Water temperature about 59 degrees and I'm on well water. Thanks!

Derek, for now, definitely add some bleach ASAP. I'd increase to about an FC of 8 for today. Tomorrow, sunshine permitting, check the CYA again. It must be a bright sunny day with the sun at your back while you look down the viewing tube. If the CYA is over 80, be prepared to exchange a little more water. When it gets that high, it's very difficult to manage. Hopefully your pool is on a strict diet of regular bleach and nothing else - no tabs/pucks, or bags of shock.

Your TA is a bit elevated, but we can address that later once we know your FC & CYA are balanced together properly. That's priority #1. Enjoy your day.
