Swim Spa but 2HP pump

Does anyone have a take on what I should do here?

I have a 8x20 swim spa and it has a 2HP pump. I am getting sick of my cartridge and thinking of switching to sand. My problem comes in with the flow rates on the filters. If I were to switch over the normal flow rates would be way to high (for a 14-21" SF) or require me to get a massive sand filter.


Any idea on a filter I could use or if I am missing something?

Why are the cartridges a problem? Should be ideal for swim spa. What size are they?

I agree with Mark's question ... but if you want to switch to sand, just get a larger one that can handle your pump flow rates ... or get a smaller pump and save some $ on electricity
