ok so, my solar cover is supposed to be here on Friday. My question is, do i need to cut out the cover for my deck ladder? or do i just let it lay against it?

I don't notch mine for my steps just tuck it in the best I can. Makes it easier for me to roll it off that way with the cover roller. Lots of other people will cut it to fit the ladder. Your choice but it is technically better to notch it so it lays on top of as much water as possible. Chances are you probably wont notice the difference.
