    Hello From SoCal

    Hi all,

We inherited a pool when we bought our house in 2013 and I didn't want the extra expense of hiring a "pool guy". I have been taking care of it myself since and I actually really enjoy it... call me crazy! Love the idea of this forum... can't wait to learn from all of you.
Trevor | Pool stats: in-ground 16 x 34 rectangular, 25,000 gallons, beadcrete (glass pebbles), 4x 1.5 HP polaris pumps (pool, waterfall, waterslide, spa jets), DE Filter, (disabled)polaris salt cell, thermal solar collectors on roof, retractable cover.

    Trevor,

Welcome to TFP... a Great resource for all your "pool guy" questions...

Why is your salt cell disabled and how are you currently chlorinating your pool?

    Thanks for posting,
