I was looking for any input on the type/grade nuts and washers I should use to reconnect my diving board base to the pool deck? I purchased the new bolts to connect the board to the base but the nuts are in terrible condition for the base to deck. The jig bolts have surface rust but no pitting so I am ok to continue using the bolts.

I would use stainless steel grade 8 (grade 5 minimum if they don't have 8) nuts and bolts for that. Lowes has them in the drawers on the hardware aisle.
