need help! I am a new pool owner and I did the mistake of adding DE EARTH to a hayward cartridge filter. once I realized that I wasn't supposed to do this I cleaned the cartlidges, but I an now seeing some DE in my pool and the water is cloudy. What are my options ? thank you

Vacuum and wash filters again. I can't think of another answer but that maybe would work. Keep an eye on pressure. You may have go to clean 2x Although no one would knows how much you put in ?

I put about 4 pounds into the skimmer.
I completely cleaned the filter, but I'm still seeing a little DE powder stuck to the cartlidges.

That isn't surprising, and you may find reduced performance from your carts after you can't find any more at all. Some may embed itself into the fibers enough to create a need for replacing the filters, but I wouldn't do that until I was sure I got all the DE out of the pool.
