How many gallons is my pool?

According to the PC my pool is 21,800G. I used 15x37x5.2. The PB says it is 19,000G
according to his sheet of all the pools they sell. I hope to have equipment hooked up this week so I can start adding chemicals. It is a green monster right now Which number should I use? In reading, it seems I should be pretty accurate when adding chems.
I've updated my sig to split the difference right now.

Hi, Lynn,

I'll bet your close with 20k. If you feel the need to be more precise, 5.2 average depth seems a little agressive but I don't know the config of your pool.

1) Pick a number.
2) Use it for a while. Notice if you tend to overshoot or undershoot your chems.
3) If you overshoot, go smaller; if you undershoot, go bigger.
4) Repeat until you don't over- or undershoot.
The calculations are an initial educated guess, that's all. I went three rounds of this process before I got a number that works pretty well.
