I just added the proteam supreame start up kit this spring witch was 10lbs proteam supream and 10 lbs ph down. now I stumbled acros this site and was reading on the efects of borates, and I realize 10 bls was probobly not enough. My question is I have a 13000 gallon pool according to the pool calculator I would need to add 47lbs of borax. acording to proteams dosage chart I would need 45 lbs assuming 13500 gallon pool. so should I just add the remaing 35lbs in borax and correct the ph with acid?

that would certainly be close enough for government work! For every 60 oz by weight of borax add 30 oz by volume of muriatic acid and you should be in the ballpark!
