Pump's Circuit Breaker Tripping

I have a Hayward 1 HP (I think) SuperPump running on 110 voltage. It has given great service for 10 or more years.

This year, I am sucking air and cannot (yet) find the source. Yesterday, and again today, the pump's (dedicated) circuit breaker tripped after perhaps 2-3 hours of running. The circuit breaker panel was quite warm (even hot) to the touch.

Any idea if this is a symptom of a failing pump? Or is the air in the line causing it to work harder (and draw more current)? There has been no change to the electrical load on the pump's dedicated circuit.

if its an isolated incident I would not worry about it. If it keeps happening, check to make sure the electrical connections are not corroded, and inspect the wire where it comes into the pump. If these look ok then it is probobly the pump.
