I was thinking of getting Adirondack chairs for our Tanning ledge. Anyone have chairs they love that they have in water?

I don't know about love but we use the plastic Adirondacks from Walmart, they are a good hight for our shelf and I don't have to be concerned about scratches or rust
Thanks. I was thinking the plastic or resin Adirondack chairs. They have some that reclines and I thought that may be a nice feature.
We got these from Ikea last year and they work perfect. Made out of plasy and even have a drain hole in the middle.

These look perfect. We too are looking for tanning deck chairs. Are they even remotely comfortable? [emoji3]

I like the look of these chairs in the tanning ledge. Reclining with a cup holder would be really nice too. We did a 6ft tanning ledge and not 8ft so I didn't want the full chaise lounge chairs that take up more room.

Are these wood or resin chairs? Don't want wood in the water. I searched, but couldn't find any lower, lean-back resin/plastic Adirondack chairs. Only wood.
BTW we also went w a 6 ft tanning ledge. Felt traditional 8 ft was overkill and detracted too much from usable pool space.

I had always considered that they would need to be plastic or resin but the hardware is a good point. What hardware will be ok? Or non at all I'm guessing.

there are different grades of stainless - I think 316 is the best for corrosion resistance with salt ...

The Lowes chairs mentioned above are what we have - in bright coral :sun:
We checked out similar chairs at HD - OSH and some others - but the Lowes model have a really comfortable back with a nice lumbar curve...FWIW

I was at Costco today and they had some very nice Adirondack chairs, made in Canada. Looked very well made, and although they look like wood, they are made of a resin based material. If I recall correctly, the price was about $125. They had a couple different colors.
Just bought 4 of the Lowe's chairs @ $18/ea. Easily most comfortable resin chair I've ever set in. Can fit at least 3 on our tanning ledge and they sit in (not above) the water as we hoped. They only carried a turquoise color but we prefer it to the others. Thanks for the recommendation.
