Draining pool with algae still in it

We are getting ready to drain our pool and store it for the winter. I have tried to clean the yellow mustard looking
stuff before i drain it, but can't seem to get rid of it.
My question is if I drain it will it come back next season and be a problem?

After you have drained it, try cleaning it with a Clorox brand disinfecting spray that contains bleach. You want to spray, sit, scrub, rinse & repeat a few times. If you don't clean it off, it will very likely come back next year.
