Has anyone had success with this? We are on our 2nd above ground pool (because we moved), and both rusted extremely fast. The one we have now is 3 years old, the pool wall is rusting around the bottom. The company advertised it as salt water compatible but isn't standing behind it.

What works? We love the low maintenance but it would be nice if the pools lasted more than 5 years.

Yes, there are many folks with SWG and above ground pools. There is a problem with the material or the manufacturing process. It is unlikely that salt is causing the problem. All pools have salt in them. Muriatic acid and bleach add salt. Most tap water has salt in it,some up to 1000 ppm. All pools have 1000-2000 ppm of salt or more. Most saltwater pools have 3500 ppm of salt or so. Ocean water has 35,000 ppm of salt.
