Should I see air pocket on top of strainer cover

I recently installed the "Hayward SP2303VSP MaxFlo VS" and I'm noticing that I see air accumulating at the top of the strainer cover.

It goes away at higher speeds but returns at lower speeds.

My old pump was not variable speed so I didn't see air in cover after about a minute of starting the pump.

Is this something that I should be worried about?

I have been wondering aboutthis exact same issue, and was searching it today. Exact same Hayward VS, and a small bubble becomes an air pocket as the day progresses. Higher speeds alleviate it.
