Acceptable Phosphate Level

Does anyone have acceptable level for phosphates?

Welcome to TFP.

In most cases, phosphate level is not important. In severe cases, it can make a pool more likely to have algae problems, but most algae problems are a result of inadequate chlorination, not high phosphates. Phosphate testing is mostly a money maker for pool stores.
