i have a hayward gl235 solar controller, the check sensor light stays lit (manual says it's the pool sensor not the solar). I traced the wire and saw it was broken on the ground. I wired it back together but still stays lit. then I checked it at the circuit board with a volt meter. 0 volts. then I disconnected the wire, checked the circuit board again, 0 volts. the manual states then it is the unit that is bad. I bought a new unit, installed it and same response. any advice???
the pool sensor is screwed into the magnum pump body not drilled into pvc. I am also having a hard time trying to find this part. any ideas on distributors? thanks
