Closing my pool

Hello and good morning. I have successfully closed my pool and im trying to remove the flex hose from the pump and skimmer so I can store the pump indoors. It gets pretty cold where I live, so I store the pump inside for winter. My problem is, I cant get the flex hose off its so tight. Clamps are off but hose wont budge. Is there a way to easily remove these hoses? Last year I just cut them off. Next year I will place a quick release with a union to make it easier.

Pumps are designed to be out in the cold. If the water is out, then the pump should be fine. Unions are best. Hard to figure out how to get off. You may be better off cutting again until next spring if you want the pump inside. Then put the unions together.

Could be a barbed fitting, if it is, it won't come off, but will need to be cut.

If barbed- torch it to soften pipe.
