My post 1st a few weeks ago, UK pool Owner What is this??

was absolutely rubbish without full test data, well the test mentioned was quite expensive and difficult to get hold of here in the UK, so i went more expensive :D
I now have a Lamotte ColorQ7

Not done a thing with the pool since my 1st post so here is the data I collected tonight:
Inground outdoor Pool of approx.20,000 gallons

Test results

FC 4.18
TC 4.62
PH 7.5
ALK 94
CH 576
CYA 56

According to Lamotte/me
FC and Tc are high which I can see
PH is good
TA OK
CH to high
CA OK

so guys looking for your thought on what the stuff is I keep getting at the bottom of pool

Cheers

Duraleigh in your other post gave you the best answer. That is algae, and with a CYA of approximately 60, you don't have enough chlorine in your pool. See this chart, to understand relationship between FC and CYA, and read through these instructions on how to slam your pool.
