25 year old plumbing (guess). Jandy valves are cracked at the screws, light gray in color (appear sun washed), seem to be letting water pass through, not sure however. Question is, if I get new ones, are they leak proof? I want to be able to completely shut off my spa from my pool and have no leaks, for freeze reasons I don't want the pump pulling / seeping in water from the pool when it is closed.
So are jandys leak proof or should I put 1 red handle valve with all the current jandys behind it to prevent a leak?
