I have an above ground 24 foot by 52 inch. i have had the pool for 4 years never a problem. this year i took the filter apart and cleaned the fingers twice I did this. I soaked over night in water and soap the hosed off. put filter together again and started filter added De ran filter. The filter runs good for about 1 hour before the discharge is weak. I pump the handel drain from the bottom of the filter and re start. before i keep doing this process I would like some help. I have not added more de to the filter except for the initial start up. the kids are killing me and what to swim.thanks in advance for any help.

Dead algae can clog up a DE filter quite quickly. If the water is clear then it is more mysterious.
