I recently got my pool motor fixed, and got it up and running just this week. Over the last couple of days, there seemed to be no issues whatsoever. Everything seemed to be running just fine, and I started the SLAM process, with plans to close the pool in about a week or two.
However, I noticed a slight difference today. While the motor was running, there was no movement in the pool whatsoever. I shut it off, cleaned out the leaf basket near the motor, and checked to see if there were any clogs near the impeller, but didn't find anything. I also cleaned out the skimmer basket as well. Another thing that I noticed was that once I cut the motor on, water wasn't flowing at all; what happens is that the water in the leaf basket drains out, and only fills back up when I turn the motor off.
