Pac Fab ST-35 50

I picked up an ST-35 or 50, not sure if their is a difference?

Anyway, when I started it up, their was a leak, a cracked ABS (Black ) plastic line on the line that states check valve.

The crack extends through the threads and I wanted to try and repair the crack since it is, I think, on the backwash line?

I would appreciate any suggestions on how to repair this crack and the material to use?

I was considering using my Dremel tool and cutting a small wedge along the crack in the top of the pipe and filling it with
some sort of sealant?

Welcome to the forum.

If it's on the backwash pipe, that seems doable but far simpler would seem to be to replace the pipe. Do you have a pic so we can better understand?

Thanks for your input, and I would agree, except the back wash line is attached to the main body of the manifold and not replaceable!
