What would I use this for? Thanks!
 
Return it if it is unopened. MPS has very little use in a residential outdoor pool as it is not an effective sanitizer and it doesn't work as well in colder pool waters. It is mainly used in spas and hot tubs to provide a secondary oxidizer for bather waste, especially in tubs that might use bromine or one that uses a silver mineral ion disinfection system.

And, if you use it in your pool, it will interfere with the FAS-DPD test and show up as excess FC.
