My pool started turning yellow and the walls also started catching up. went and met the pool guys and they said i need to add muratic acid and also shock the pool, looks like it became worst, please help. the PH was 7.8

Hello and welcome to TFP! 
If your pool has developed algae, chlorine, and the constant/proper use of it, is the answer. Here at TFP we use a "SLAM" method to treat algae (link below). First thing you will need (besides lots of regular bleach) is the proper test kit. Either a TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C. Do you have either of those? That would be step #1 so that you can test the FC level properly at frequent intervals.
Also, please add your pool info to your signature by going to the top of the TFP web page (just under the Pool School button) and select "SETTINGS". On the next page look to the left for a menu bar that says, “MY SETTINGS” and go to "EDIT SIGNATURE" to enter your pool and equipment info there. Or you can click EDIT YOUR SIGNATURE.
