just got my test kit

I did something alittle foolish,I was so eager to use the tst kit I went right to it and performed the tests(after reading all lit.) and everything was good except my CH, it was 170 and needs to be 250ppm (fiberglass pool).

Well after I did the test I forgot I needed to vac. pool then backwash. Do you think it will change my numbers drastically? My cya was 80 just where I needed it. Should I perform all tests again?

Also I put in some cal. elevator (after backwash duh) how long before can I test for CH.

are you asking if backwashing changed your numbers drastically? not unless you did a ton and added a lot of water back.
a lot of people live with a cc of .5 or less, which is ok. but greater than .5 is not ok.

Yes.

That should take your FC to about 30 (based on your CYA 80).
