Hi--
We live in midwest and are buying a winter home in Scottsdale. The 10 year old home has an inground pool-basic style.
We would like to add a spa that has enough jets to be considered therapeutic. The existing pool equipment will be replaced. The decking will also be updated. What range of budget should we be planning?
We are looking for all sorts of advice--
on the spa--We are thinking about getting an above ground spa and sink it half way into the ground.
What kind of filter and heater system do we need for the pool?
Should we escavate the existing pool and start over?

Welcome to TFP!!

My preference would be to just get a self contained hottub and keep it separate from the pool 8)

If you post some pics and tell us what you think is wrong with the existing pool, we can better advise you on doing a whole replacement 8)

Glad you are here!
