Any tips on how to keep a pair of ducks from visiting my pool everyday? It's what they are leaving behind in the pool thats got me upset

string lines above the pool...best in a crossing pattern...a few unhappy landings and they will find a new place to land

Do Owls work on Ducks??? I know alot of people have success on getting rid of birds by buying the big plastic OWL and mounting it at a good location..
Night before last when there was only a couple inches of water in our pool (because we were replacing the liner), we were visited by some geese we think.. Our dog must have been SNOOOZING very heavily based on the amount of doo doo left in the pool - DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!! 
I saw a sign the other day and laugh my a** off:
Please do not step on my sleeping guard dog.

Strung 6 pcs of 80 pound fishing line across the pool today, it worked like a charm watched a mallard try to land or should I say crash land. He immediately left and I dont think he will be back. Thanks for the suggestion.
