Should I be cleaning my filter 30days post new plaster?

Should I be cleaning the filter this soon? I know it's most likely has a ton of plaster dust.

Certainly plausible. We recommend cleaning the filter any time the pressure rises 20-25% over the clean pressure.

Cleaning it just to clean it or because the pressure has risen?

Honestly, with everything going on i didnt even look at the start up pressure and i have changed rpm, so i dont have a baseline. At 1750 rpms i am @ 8psi on the gauge.

I would clean the filter and make a note of the clean pressure at 3000 rpm for future reference.

Its running 18psi @ 3000 rpms.

I cleaned the filter a month or so after the pool was finished, just because I was curious and had the time to do so. At the bottom of the filter, it had a bunch of pebble rocks and other gunk that was probably from the build process. I would clean it at thirty days just to become familiar with your filter and to set a baseline of pressure like stated above.
