Need advice on setup

Hi, we just got a place with supposedly a new pool and setup although I doubt the motor is less than a year old as they claim. It very load and I'm questioning the size of the pipes. Can anyone tell from these pictures? Also what is the round device on the top of the poll on the right?

This equipment does look to be at least a few years old, I am not sure what your question is otherwise.

Pipes look to be standard size for your equipment. Hard to tell age from photos... ask for receipts? I think the object on the "right" you refer to is actually on left in photo. It's the air blower for your spa.
